SARAH PALIN RALLY 2008

(SCROLL DOWN FOR MORE PICTURES)

One of the greatest experiences I have ever had was attending the Sarah Palin Rally in Jeffersonville, indiana on October 29. Thanks to a very good friend (GB) I was able to get VIP seating and sit on the stage with Sarah Palin. At times, I was three feet away from Sarah Palin, Hank Williams Jr and Todd Palin.

There were 16,000 people in attendance and when she walked off of the 'Straight Talk' Bus - the sound was deafening and amazing at the same time. She spoke for almost 45 minutes and I was moved by her personal sentiments and her excitement about the McCain agenda. She ended her speech talking about the need for this country to be energy independent. They have a better agenda for this than the other side of the ticket. If this economy is going to get better we need to utilize more resources from within the U.S.
She talked about her son Trigg and Down Syndrome babies and the need to bring this issue to the forefront. One of the ladies on the runway line had a down syndrome baby and was holding a sign that said "My baby is special like Trigg.'
Most all of these pictures I took. The second one was taken by the gentleman next to me (AL) and I love the special effect he added. One of the pictures is of people walking to the convention center holding signs that said 'Palin Power'. I took this while waiting in the traffic line.

All I can say, is this was one of the most awesome experiences I have ever had and that I pray that McCain will overcome the polls and be elected. Sarah Palin has a future in the GOP and I intend to support her. She has the voice of 'the average American' and for me, that is important. I believe she can relate more to what normal families are facing on a daily basis.

Again, many thanks to GB for getting me the VIP seats and contributing to a night that will be remembered for a long time. GO SARAH!
